Traditional styled cupola

Design & Display Structures have completed the contract awarded by main contractor Bilton & Johnson (Building) Co to design, manufacture and build a traditional appearance cupola with dome and finial for the redevelopment of Acton Magistrates Court.

Following production of CAD drawings D&D constructed the cupola from a variety of traditional building materials i.e. decorated engineered timber main body structure incorporating arched window features, lead to the dome and base cill details, arched headed double glazed units and lead finial to complete the effect.

The unit was transported as a complete offsite preassembled unit and installation works were completed December 2013.
