Replacing stone with GRP

When a stone consul bracket came crashing down on a Barnes property they turned to Design & Display Structures for the solution.

D&D carefully gathered together the broken parts which were unfortunately incomplete and from site photographs their fabricators painstakingly assembled the parts and filled in the gaps to recreate the ornate profile of the original consul bracket.

From this pattern a GRP mould was created which then allows the factory to produce a large quantity of idential GRP casts in the RAL/BS colour of choice.

The result was a fine example of an ornate consul bracket that when fitted to the roof eaves detail perfectly complimented the originals. An added advantage is the weight of the GRP version was nominal compared to the heavy stone version.
