Design & Display Structures have designed, manufactured and installed GRP waffle panels to external facades of the £80m St Pancras Chambers development, a luxury apartment and hotel complex.
Appointed by brickwork specialists, Irvine Whitlock, the D&D team worked closely with IW and associated trades in a phased installation during 2010.
GRP panels run both horizontally the ribbon windows and vertically to cover in service duct risers.
Manufactured in Midland Red colour these lightweight yet robust GRP panels with a deliberate orange peel texture give exactly the solid iron waffle appearance the architect hoped for and compliment the finish of the windows and curtain walling.
