D&D join with Simulation Displays to take pole position in driving simulators

Design & Display Structures has been appointed by Simulation Displays to fabricate a conical projection screen for incorporation into their race driving simulation system.

D&D have developed an engineered solution, both lightweight yet meeting tight construction tolerances and manufacturing quality, that can be shipped as a preassembled kit that can be packed into a container for shipping worldwide.

This particular conical screen encloses the driver in a 360 degree environment and measures a huge 10m diameter by 4m tall.

The lucky professional drivers who will get to experience this set up in 2014 will be the envy of computer gamers who must make do with driving their Playstation 3 / Xbox simulators displayed on domestic sized flat screens.
