RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2011 - British Heart Foundation

Illuminated translucent GRP platform cell

Design & Display Structures are working closely with designers Ann-Marie Powell Gardens and Ian Bishop to create a large organic shaped platform as part of the British Heart Foundation display sponsored by Brewen Dolphin.

This one piece 4.2m x 3.4m platform will be manufactured and built using red translucent materials to enable the designers to illuminate it from within, creating a stunning effect as people walk over the textured slip resistant surface. To the perimeter is a 200mm bullnose reaching to the waters surface.

The platform is being installed during May 2011 and located under the Heartstring Canopy.
