Simulation projections screens heading for Fosnavg

D&D collaborate with OSC on vessel and crane simulators

Design & Display Structures have won a contract by Offshore Simulation Centre to provide three types of project screen product for the OSC new installation at Fosnavåg.

Works comprise a majestic 4.2m double skinned free standing projection dome, a 360 degree curved surround to offshore vessel ship bridge and a further 180 degree aft bridge surround. The later two are fitted into very tight spaces by a clever installation process, thereby maximising the use of every inch of floor space available.

Designed and manufactured in modular GRP form to exacting high standards and tolerances, the D&D factory trial assembled screens will be shipped to Fosnavåg for installation commencing mid March 2014.
